Tech Singularity vs Human Singularity
Just the other day, I encountered another facet of the mad view of life that we have sustained for three millennia.
I was describing the disaster of a Tech Singularity that many prehumans cling to in the belief it will save the human race versus my own belief that only the Human Singularity (Fusion, The Grand Narrative, Loving Coitus) can do so.
The only comment, of course, was from one respondent that was repelled to the point that she noted that she needed to get nine hundred million miles away from such "woo-woo" thoughts.
What struck me is that it is clear that she was intrigued by the idea that a machine could save humanity (or she never would have read the post), as well as convinced that humanity could not save itself.
Do you see how extraordinarily twisted that is? The prehuman race trusts itself so little that it would rather we put our future into the hands of a prehuman creation than learn to be Human. We would rather rely on a machine created by prehumans, with all of the foibles of the prehuman built in ipso facto. The machine learns from the mad prehuman state what prehuman life is all about. The mad state remains in tact in the machine as long as the prehuman state remains in tact. Many would rely on what the machine learns about existence from prehumanity with all of the madness in tact Only humanity can change the status of humanity.
Many are convinced that a machine can do better than the human race at understanding existence. The machine can never take into account that which drives the human race.
A machine will accept the lies just like the prehuman does. Worse yet, it has not the sentient awareness of the real Human situation to ever come to the correct conclusion regarding prehumanity's conundrum. It cannot seek clarity.
